SICOT Education Academic Chair Message

It gives me unparalleled pleasure to be invited to pen a message to all delegates of this inaugural collaborative meeting between IFAS and the SICOT Foot & Ankle Committee. SICOT’s Collaborative meeting models, unchartered in the past, has enabled us to deliver bespoke educational goals in cahoots with regional educational kingpins. As a truly international orthopaedic society of members, we aspire to meet the diverse learning needs of our global membership. Collaborative meetings such as this will continue to galvanize SICOT’s educational landscape whilst forging strong relationships with like-minded global societal allies. Indeed, venturing into new ground takes a whole lot of grit, willingness to adapt, innovate and challenge the status quo. I am truly indebted to IFAS for their alliance and to Rahul Upadhyay for his resilience and determination (whilst maintaining the fun quotient!) with realizing this pioneering effort. Finally, to the delegates, both national and regional, seize this phenomenal opportunity to look, listen and feel everything foot & ankle, delivered to your doorstep …. Carpe diem!

Chair (SICOT Foot & Ankle Committee) Message

On behalf of the Foot & Ankle Committee of SICOT, it is a huge privilege to welcome you to Jaipur, the beautiful capital city of Rajasthan, for this collaboration between the Indian Foot & Ankle Society and SICOT. The inaugural SICOT-Indian Foot & Ankle Society Meeting provides a fantastic regional education opportunity, bringing together world leaders in Foot & Ankle to share knowledge and skills and highlight the current advances in the speciality. We are privileged to be joined by Foot & Ankle guest speakers from across the globe, representing North and South America, Europe and Asia. Extensive planning has gone into ensuring high calibre educational content that will appeal to both generalists and subspeciality specific surgeons, covering both elective and trauma topics. Cadaveric sessions allied with guest lectures and live surgery will be combined with the opportunity to share knowledge through free papers. This will no doubt be a fantastic event and I look forward to meeting you all in the ‘Pink City’ in October.

Hello everyone,

On behalf of Indian foot and Ankle society, and the organizing committee, I would like to extend my warm greetings and welcome you all to this academic extravaganza of IFAS- SICOT Foot and Ankle conference. The scientific committe has left no stones unturned to develop an advance and detailed description of surgical techniques of various pathophysiology. We have presence of both national and Internationally acclaimed leading Foot &Ankle faculty imparting the intricacies of Foot &Ankle surgery giving an unique opportunity for the delegates to update their knowledge from the masters in this background of the beautiful Pink City of Jaipur. We once again welcome you on 13th to 15th October 2023 to Jaipur to assimilate your knowledge for this IFAS-SICOT conference.
